We'd love you to join our latest venture: "Block for MS"
What's it all about?
Download the block pattern at the top right of our sidebar.
Make up the block using any combination of red, white and black fabric (patterned and plain).
Send it into amitie by March 3rd.
We will then make it up into a quilt and auction it on ebay.
Each block will appear on our flickr site, and you will feel fabulous knowing you have helped out a great cause, and got involved in our sewing community.
EMAIL US NOW and register. Email title QUILT FOR MS, please give us your name and blog address (if you have one). Once you have registered get sewing!!!

great idea, i am looking for my red and white bits already. i should be doing the housework, but this is much more rewarding!

what a fabulous idea. I love red and white and always type in black. Off to the cupboard and then the cutting board! Count me in.

Thank you for doing this, I hope you get thousands of blocks donated to you. My oldest daughter Ramie,now 34, was diagnosed in 2003 with progressive MS after 2 years of symptoms. Doctors estimate she has had silent lesions forming in her brain since age 15.
She would thank you also.
Her blog is a record of her life with MS if anyone needs motivation to make a block.

I'm in too - my brother was diagnosed 15 yrs ago. Awful, awful, AWFUL disease...

Im in, off to stitching on Tuesday and Wednesday with different bods - I shall see how many I can get in Sydney to do their bit. Lovely Idea. I cant ride a bike but I can make a block!

What a wonderful idea! Am afraid I can't even thread a needle but would be more than happy to let others on the craft forum I visit know. My mother has had MS for 43 years now and is completely reliant on my dad to tend to all aspects of her care. It's such a devasting disease and often attracts less publicity than equally worthy causes. Thank you for doing this!
