The shop is overflowing with new fabrics and here is a small sample of what has arrived this week.
Paddington Bear, Beatrix Potter, Dick and Jane and Funky Monkeys are just a few of the novelty prints we stock. Judy is also making a fantastic little cot quilt "Secret garden". I will post the pic next week.
Phong is another star pupil. She chose the fabrics and whipped this little number up as if she had been quilting for years. Well done it looks fabulous. Another weekend in Marysville and you can make another!

Customer Testimonial:
Dear Jennifer
I just wanted to write to thank your fabulous ladies for looking after me so well on my recent trip to Melbourne. Despite being a ittle tired after such an early flight I was reinvigorated the minute I walked into your shop. All the beautiful fabric and an obvious wealth of knowledge in the ladies who served me I was thrilled to be able to find exactly what I wanted for the quilt I had recently started, each night it grows a little more. Thank you again for your hospitality and even the lift to the tram stop!
Thank-you so much, it makes everything worthwhile when you get something like this.
More Jenny Jenny Jenny!, she blew in on a very gusty breeze! Another "specialist appointment" is what she tells us, but they all seem to be via Centre Road, Bentleigh...
Another quilt featuring red Russian dolls this time, but not quite finished quilting it yet, most disappointing!!
See you in 48 hours Jenny!
Last Wednesday late in the afternoon Jenny B came and chose fabric for a quilt for little Skye. We were not surprised when, on Saturday she was back with the quilt finished, hand quilted and all. I might also add that she has had just 1 class.
Bidding us a fond farewell she was off home to the peninsula stating she would not see us for a while but no, there must have been a tail wind up the Nepean Highway and in she blows on Monday with yet another quilt top finished ready to be quilted. What has happened Jenny we haven’t seen you for 2 days!
Not much work was achieved this last week as we were celebrating birthdays. Trish and I have no excuses when it comes to remembering each others as they are just a day apart. It's sort of nice to work and share the good times and my girls called in so I had the best of everything. Thanks to everyone for the pressies and these fantastic cup cakes, which looked just too good to eat.
Thanks so much Louise for the delicious morning and afternoon tea and supper!!! I know it’s a difficult time for you at the moment which makes it so special that you made these for me. I suppose this week should bring much productivity....we shall wait and see as we are a year older now.
These have just arrived in store and what a feeding frenzy they created. Trish's Sat stitching group were here and we decided anyfabrics that are slow to move off the shelf should be wrapped in plastic, popped in a box and bought in through the back door!!!!
This is a really small sample of this gorgeous range, and the
good news is the price. Some of these are just $17 per mt........
